Simple tutorial for connecting vb6 to microsoft Access 2007 Database
1. First create database using miscrosoft access 2007 and name it wat you want.
2. In the microsoft Access 2007 Creat table name it wat you want.
3. In the table first field create Name in second field create LastName third field create MaternalName. then save
4. Open your vb6 create new project and add in the form Label 1 to 3 or Text1 to 3
5. Then open components by pressing Ctrl+T in components list select the Microsoft ADO Data Control 6.0 (SP6)(OLEDB) then Click Ok 6. Then drag the Adodc to the form
7. In folder or any directory create new TextDocument then rename it any name you want bat the extension must be .udl sample TextDocument.udl
8. Right Click the Adodc select ADODC Properties then the property page will popup In General Tab select click the radio button of Use Data Link File then click brows button
9. In Brows Dialog Locate you created TextDocument.udl in the directory click apply
10. The goto RecordSouce Tab In Command Type Select 2-adCmdTable then below the Table or Stored Procedure Name select your Table name at your Table in Access 2007 then Click OK button
11. In your Labels Properties. In the DataSource select Adodc. And in the DataField Select ta Field of your created database.
